Teams does not have an internal option to change the time zone; it synchronises automatically with your operating system settings (Windows or macOS). Additionally, you can check other users' time zones by hovering over their profile picture.

However, Teams uses a second time zone for scheduled meetings and events, which it would obtain from the corporate Exchange service (if we had one).

If this information cannot be obtained, it defaults to the parameters: UTC-08:00 Pacific Time (US and Canada).

To resolve this, we must force the time zone in the Teams calendar by accessing the settings submenu of that tool (not the previous settings menu):
