When you use your Movistar mobile line outside Spain (roaming), you can access the following services, provided that the operator in the destination country has them enabled and your device is compatible.

4G (LTE) Service

Allows the use of high-speed mobile data, as well as calls and messages, when connected to 4G networks of the foreign operator.

Movistar 5G SA

Access to Movistar's Stand Alone 5G networks while roaming, offering higher speed, lower latency, and better network performance, provided that:

• The destination country has 5G SA.
• The device is compatible.
• Coverage is available.

Basic Service (GPRS/UMTS Data)

Data connectivity on older networks (2G/3G), used as a fallback in areas without 4G or 5G coverage.

Browsing speed is limited compared to 4G/5G.

4G Video Call

Ability to make native video calls over the 4G network, without the need for external applications, provided the destination operator supports it.

4G Voice (VoLTE)

Allows making and receiving voice calls over the 4G network, with better audio quality and shorter call setup time compared to traditional voice.

WiFi Calling

Ability to make and receive calls using a WiFi connection, even if mobile coverage is limited, provided that:

• The service is active on the line.
• The device is compatible.
• The local operator allows it while roaming.
