To activate a new corporate Teams line, a request from the administrative responsible designated by the Center to manage telephony services through this platform is required.
The request must include:
- Chosen internal extension
- Required call profile (corporate / national / international)
- A personal corporate email (name.surname@upm.es / name.surname@fgupm.upm.es / etc.) of the person who will use the line
O365 accounts are personal (corporate service emails are not allowed), so we can only offer the corporate Teams telephony service to University staff and some foundations that maintain a management mandate with UPM.
Currently, the service is in a stable stage where it is correctly offered in production, but it still coexists with Cisco telephony service, so not all numbers can be configured with this platform.
Any request must be preceded by a prior consultation with the technical manager designated by the Center to manage the Telephony services.
