To activate a new corporate mobile line, a request from the administrative manager designated by the Center to manage Telephony services through this platform is required.
The request must include:
- Required call profile (corporate / national / international).
- Data needs (voice service only / voice and data service).
- A corporate personal email (name.surname@upm.es / name.surname@fgupm.upm.es) of the person who will use the line.
- Type of card to be used (physical SIM / eSIM).
- Physical address for sending the card by internal mail if necessary.
Mobile data is managed based on an annual shared data pool for the entire UPM, which will include both national and international data traffic within the EU zone. Administrative limits will be established to rationalize its use.
The assignment of numbers, both public (long number) and corporate (short number) is a random proccess.
These lines are not intended for tethering (sharing the device's 4G/5G internet connection for use from laptops).
