Identification via SSO, using an institutional email address
Single Sign-On (SSO) facilitates access to Overleaf for institutional users. Overleaf's institutional single sign-on is available to the UPM community and is implemented using the SAML standard.
To log in using institutional SSO, follow these steps:
- Log in by clicking “Log in” (“Entrar” in Spanish) at the top right of the homepage.
- Select “Log in with SSO” (“Unirse mediante SSO” in Spanish).
- Enter your institutional email (***@upm.es or ***@***.upm.es) and select “Log in”.
- This will take you to the UPM login page, where you can enter your institutional credentials.
- Once you have logged in via SSO, you will be able to access your projects in the project dashboard.
You can also use the SSO login page directly at https://es.overleaf.com/sso-login.
Identification with other accounts, without SSO
Identification via SSO is limited to accounts ***@upm.es or ***@***.upm.es.
Other accounts can continue to be used to log in to Overleaf using the full email address and Overleaf password (not the email password) by clicking the “Log in” button.
