Please note that contributions to congresses published in scientific journals may be indexed and automatically incorporated into iMarina along with their corresponding quality indicators.
These contributions will appear:
- In the Publications section of the CVN, instead of under Works presented at Congresses.
- Identified with a green dot to the right of the record.
As always, and especially in this case, before manually adding a contribution published in a scientific journal, make sure to check that it is not already registered in iMarina.
If you want to include a contribution manually, you must do so in the CV section Works presented at Congresses or other events and select the most appropriate option from the dropdown menu Item type.
Please bear in mind that according to the current UPM Research and Innovation Quality Measurement Plan (PMCII), only the following types are eligible for evaluation in the Research Reports:
- Published conference, which will be included automatically if it is indexed.
- Presentation at International Congresses with reviewers and indexed proceedings.
- Invited to give a presentation at International Congresses with reviewers and indexed proceedings.
Presentations and invited conferences may not already be in iMarina, so they will need to be added manually. To ensure they are considered in the evaluation of the Research Reports, please note the following:
- The Item type must be set as: Presentation (Works presented at National or International Congresses) or Invited to give a presentation (Works presented at National or International Congresses).
- Complete the field: Published in Journal | Book | Proceedings | Publisher:
- Click the orange button and add the congress.
- In the Scope section, it should be listed as International.
