How can I find out if the book I need is in the Library?
The availability of materials, both physical and digital, should be checked through the #IngenioUPM search engine, which provides real-time information on the location and status of the copies.
If the book I need is in the library of another campus, can I request it?
Yes, the university has an intercampus loan service that allows you to request materials located at any of the centres in the UPM network for collection at the user's preferred library.
What happens if the loan period expires and I do not return the material?
Failure to meet the return deadlines is subject to the penalties stipulated in the UPM Library Loan Regulations. Late returns result in the temporary suspension of the loan right, proportional to the delay period.
What happens if the material I have on loan is damaged or lost?
In case of loss, misplacement or damage to the material, the user is obliged to replace the copy or comply with the compensation procedure specifically established in the University Library Regulations.
