To change the ownership of the UPM corporate line for personal use, it should be noted that it must always be switched to a standard contract with Movistar. Any contract change or portability operation must be carried out once this procedure is completed.
To do this, you must complete, sign, and send the attached form to UPM Support, leaving the sections "distributor code", "distributor name" and "contract type" blank.
Remember that Telefónica applies a standard contract until you become the owner of the line and can carry out the necessary procedures.
The processing of the change can be done in two ways depending on the Telefónica database in which the user is registered:
- If the user is already a Movistar individual customer, the change is immediate and they will receive a communication indicating that they are now the owner of the line and can manage it as they see fit.
- If it is necessary to add the data to Telefónica’s databases, the change is made on the same day, but the line cannot be managed until a few days after the request.
To manage the line once portability is completed, the new owner must call 1004 from Movistar individuals.
The billing period for Movistar Individuals is from the 18th of the month to the 17th of the following month.
